ABOUT

Aarynn O'Brien, who works professionally as A.E. Urquhart, is an illustrator based in Maine. In 2024, she earned a BFA in Illustration from the Institute of Art and Design at New England College in Manchester, New Hampshire. She also minored in art history.

 

She is a huge fan of Marvel, Star Wars (particularly Mandalorians), Project Hail Mary (2026), books, reading and writing, mermaids, tarot, and make up. 

​

Her work is narrative-driven, dream-like, and atmospheric. She focuses on women in fantasy, the whimsical, and emphasizes mood and emotion.
